Is Askio the official ChatGPT or OpenAI app?

No. Askio is an independent app and is not affiliated with OpenAI, ChatGPT or Google. It uses third-party AI models to answer you.

Are the AI answers always correct?

No. AI responses are generated automatically and may be inaccurate or incomplete — please verify important information and don't rely on them for professional, medical, legal or financial decisions.

What happens to my prompts and files?

They're sent to our AI service providers only to generate your result, are not sold, and are deleted according to our retention practices. Email us to request deletion.

Is it free? What are coins and purchases?

Askio is free and supported by ads, and some features use coins or a free quota. You can buy coins or a premium tier via Google Play Billing; prices are shown before you buy.

Why does it need the microphone?

Only for hands-free voice chat, while you're using voice. Nothing is recorded in the background — you can revoke it in Settings → Apps → Askio AI → Permissions.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Open the Google Play Store app → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → select Askio AI → Cancel.

How do I stop personalized ads?

Decline the in-app consent prompt if it appeared, and/or reset or opt out of your Advertising ID via Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.

How do I delete my data?

Clear your chat history in the app, clear the app's storage or uninstall, and email us to request deletion of anything sent to the AI.
